HOCET Poultry Program

Recently Hezekia shared with us his vision for reaching orphans and vulnerable youth in Tanzania. 10 years ago, SCL worked with Hananasif Orphanage Center (HOCET) to launch a poultry production program.

HOCET is relaunching the program after having had to temporarily suspend it. To do it, they need $6,000 US to cover the initial cost. Once launched the program will serve as a source of income source HOCET, nutrition for students, manure for agricultural projects, and entrepreneurship training for the school for years to come. They hope that the program will be self-sustaining once launched.
